Hostgator take an active interest in their customers too. A customer is not just a number to them. I occasionally get emails from their CEO to make sure everything is in order and get regular security updates from them when I’ve been lazy.

10 out of 10 in my books ive been with them for 3 years never had a problem.

I have been hosted with hostgator for 1 year under baby plan.They have a good support team to fast response.I like their monthly payment option.Hostgator’s free site builder
given me able to build good website fastly.I recommend it.

I chose the Business hosting package after doing a lot of research, as my previous hosting provider (dot5hosting) had too many email issues.

Our Business hosting solution is great!!
The mail is fast and handles our big attachments and I like having the comfort of a vps server. Well worth it!!

Hostgator is great for me as a beginner in web site making and hosting.

I got easy-to-follow instructions on their website and from their friendly support staff. Great design templates, and an easy-to-use cPanel.

Now my site is up and running and I couldn’t be happier.

I have a 3500 page business website and it’s hosted by hostgator shared hosting.

The main reasons picked hostgator because they have good value and 100% up times.

Secondly I liked that I could host my alternate domains as well.

For my business I need a few domain names to direct people to my site.

The last reason was cPanel, which I consider the best control panel on the market.

I wouldn’t host with a company where I don’t have a good set of tools to set up sub domains and such.

I originally signed up for Host gator in 2007. After a few months, I got an email from the system administrators that my site was using too much “memory and cpu.” I immediately got upset and told their customer service that it wasn’t my fault, and although the team worked with me to show me where my software was causing these issues, I felt like it was a ‘bait and switch’ to purchase their VPS hosting.

I decided to cancel and find hosting elsewhere. WHAT A MISTAKE.
Unlike Host gator, when my site had similar issues, these other hosts would just shut me down and wouldn’t help me troubleshoot at all, often times taking days to answer my emails.
Since then, I’ve moved back to Host gator on a VPS program nontheless, and my site has been running beautifully since.

Thanks for the help. Next time there is an issue, I promise not to get so agressive

I signed up for a reseller package with Host Gator when I needed affordable hosting for multiple domains and this was by far the best value option I could find.

The reseller package offers hosting for unlimited domains and unlimited bandwidth, I assumed there was a catch but I’m yet to find it! The interface is very simple to use and there is a wealth of tools, features & scripts available making life simple for newbies or seasoned pro’s alike. For example Worpress can be installed in just two clicks.

about customer support, I haven’t used it yet as I haven’t had any problems with the service.

We have been with Hostgator for almost 2 years now . Whenever we launch a product or service, I always think about how we can offer customer service and support that comes just close to that of Hostgator.

Their support team know exactly what they are doing and they really understand that uptime is extremely important outside the tech world.

Hostgator are not afraid to put in the effort and a current customer is just as important as a new customer. This is really quite difficult to explain unless you’ve experienced it for yourself.

PS: the price is a bit higher than industry average but it definitely worth it.

Host gator has some of the best support I’ve encountered. They assisted me in getting my site uploaded and my email configured.

They’re professional but on a level I could understand.

well when I signed up I didn’t have a clue what i was in for.

when I figured I was in over my head I called and canceled my account.
No questions asked. I got my refund and in a timely manner and the girl was very polite. when I figure out how to use there features I’ll sign with them again.
