I have been with lunarpages for several years, and although there are “better deals” regarding price and offering out there, the reason I stay with lunarpages is the quality of the support and uptime. Simple and plain – it’s excellent. My email runs smooth, spam filters are good and downtime is very minimal. My time is valuable and its worth the extra couple of dollars I could save by hosting at a cheaper place.

We are a relatively high maintenance client of LunarPages.com. We bring a good deal of business with multiple dedicated servers under us, but we also have high standards and often require assistance from the technical support department due to the resource intensive nature of the software we run on their servers.

They are the one hosting company I have dealt with in 8 years as a web-based IT professional that consistently meets our needs. We have been with them for over 4 years and the quality of the hosting and support staff over time definitely indicate good management decision from the top down. They are just a solid company and I highly recommend.

I gave them all 5’s because I really can find no shortcomings in any of the categories listed.

So far it’s been great. They have a great cpanel and moving around is easy and intuitive.
The email access is far better than the other hosts and lunarpages allows you to use 1 of 2 front ends – Squirrel mail and Horde. I used Horde at the other site and felt it combersome and tragically flawed. Squirrel mail is a breeze.
FTPing is easy and you can also use your browser to upload web changes from your PC. There are many help instructions to read in case you have a problem and I don’t know what their support is like since I haven’t had to email them or call.

All in all, lunarpages is the best.

When I email Lunar Pages for any technical need or question, not only do they respond within 20-45 minutes, in that time they have usually attended to my issue and the response is to let me know my concern has been taken care of. How cool is that?

after running with lunarpages for a few months and had zero downtime and the forum, blog and email have been very fast. We’re sure that lunarpages is very fast and stable web hosting provider.

I’m not even sure if the first host I ever used is still in business. All I was concerned with was the absolute cheapest deal.
I learned the hard way that by making price your main factor you’re dooming yourself to get exactly what you paid for. By paying very little, you get very little.
I experienced constant downtime until the host lost complete control of their server to hackers. The one redeeming point was they did eventually, after weeks of me nagging, come through with my refund.

My next host, and only since, is Lunarpages. I only have one other to compared it against so take my recommendation for what it is worth. I chose them by asking others what host they had the best experience with. All I know is that I’ve never noticed a single problem to complain about in 10 months of using them. The total minutes of downtime can be counted on my hand. Any time I’ve requested help from support they have been quick to respond.

The fact that I have no complaints, is what I think says the most. Having a good host saves you from all of the stresses a poor host causes. Piece of mind is the most important thing that you can buy.

I’ve been a Lunarpages customer since 2002 and they have never let me down. Their support is always friendly and above all very professional.

I highly recommend their services whether your hosting your own sites, or if you plan to resell hosting packages yourself.

I’ve had problems with lunarpages. The first thing would be their support are slow to respond.
The other thing I could complain about is slow loading of php scripts.

My site has been up for almost a year now. When I first started, it was my first website, so I already had a lot of questions to ask about actually getting it up and going. Luckily, the first few days were a breeze.
They were speedy in finding a solution, and were not frustrated at my ignorance. All I had to do was sending support ticket and I was in the immediate attention of a support rep.
After those initial hours of setting up, followed by a few days of studying online how to run a site, I never once needed support again. The site has not once failed me yet. Also, the control panel is such an easy tool to understand and use. Installing software to my site can be done from anywhere, with or without an FTP client. The host supports a multitude of languages, software, and other necessities demanded of a host in this era of the Internet. Very pleased

Lunarpages is an excellent company … and after having tested them for more than 2 years and having tested other also … I only can highly recommend them.

One of the things i love about lunarpages is that whenever i have a problem … I can contact them 24/7. Often when an issue had to go to the admin the problem was solved within a period of 24hours or less. Eg. when installing special scripts etc.

Switched over from theplanet.com to these guys and they are brilliant. Have had several site hosted by these guys in the past and never had any down time.

recommend to anyone who is hosting video content always find they can delivery pretty much a decent download speed. We are based in Australia and even this far away have no real problems apart from our local isp’s getting the usual end of day bottlenecks. Also the live support is amazing this has helped me many times if needed suport whilst being away from office.
